This
is a webpage where a writer will introduce you to his career and tell you what it takes to get into this job field.
There
are two different main types of writing;
Fiction: As a fiction writer, you are often pressed
for money, and you must have a day job to allow you to pay the bills, but you are allowed to express yourself in any way you
would like, from science fiction writing to old west stories. Fiction writers often create scripts for movies and radio shows.
I am a fiction writer.
Non-Fiction: These writers use facts and experiences
to write articles for newspapers, magazines, manuals, and many other non-fictional sources. They often work in office buildings
and other business areas and must work in a more business-like manner.
I
will attempt to describe both types of writing as extensively as possible, but as the different forms of writing are so different
in what they demand, I may drift to either one or the other.
